Heyy guys!!!
Man the last week has been crazy! On Wednesday when all the 200 tornados hit we woke up early and went into the Gothart's house because of the crazy winds and rain. We watched the news and saw tornados were hitting all over around us. We all cleaned the closet out and got in it!
Christa and I stayed in the closet most of the time. There was only one or two times that all of us started to get in. But the tornados just kept forming above the house and hitting over down the road a couple miles so we didn't get any damage. Thank Jesus. The next day we kinda just hung around the house and then went and bought TONS of groceries to stock up because we wouldn't have power for a week! Then on Friday we packed up the bus and drove to East Limestone County Fire Department and cooked food for a bunch of people there! It was awesome!! People were sooooo appreciative and it felt great to help people out!
We went out and saw damaged homes around where we were and it was crazy!!! one part of the house could be not even touched but the rest was just GONE... and people were picking up their clothes and belongings all over the ground. It was like nothing I've ever seen except on movies.
On Sunday night we did a little mini concert in the parking lot of the fire station and a buncha people came to watch it was really kewl!
So yea.... It's been crazy but it's totally legit that God protected us and I'm so thankful for that!
