In the Desert

This week we have been in the desert; Globe, Arizona that is, where God has painted the floor of this part of the earth with beautiful varieties of cactus. We all go through desert times and feel the Lord can't hear our prayers. It seems that God has left us all alone. Jesus said He would never leave us or forsake us. I believe the Lord allows us to walk in the desert to build us and strengthen our faith in Him. Today if you are in the desert ask the Lord to show you His mighty strength, help you to see the amazing beauty, and flood you with His peace. It's amazing when we stop, look and listen. Even in the desert, there's amazing beauty. BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD! Pastor Marc and Ellen have been wonderful hosts and we've been blessed getting to know them. The Holy Spirit was precious and mighty as God did some cleansing and healing in the service. His Spirit continues to draw people into the shadow of His wings. The name of the church here in Globe is called Calvary Shadows.

This tour has been about building relationships with family, old and new friends. We were so thrilled to spend some wonderful time with our kids and GRAND babies in Killeen, Texas. We are so proud of them and how they are allowing the Lord to use them. Getting to spend quality time with dear friends is always such blessing. Pastor Mike and Neely Tracy and their family are leading a wonderful church here and our love and prayers are with them. We thank God for sending the beautiful people He has placed here who are faithful to do the work of the ministry. Richie and Michelle are loved, encouraged and are doing a great job building up the music ministry. What a great team of people at New Beginnings Church! We love y'all!

Steve and Linda Over are a part of our board of directors and precious friends. We were ministered to by going to Gateway church on 3 Saturday evenings with them. They blessed us in so many ways and our time with them is always so wonderful. We also got to spend some time together with our ministry buddies Randy and Marlee Brown and their children. They travel full time as well and are a special family to us. Curtis and Cally Evans have been close friends for several years now and were instrumental in connecting us with a couple of churches and introducing us to Pastors and friends at God's Word of Life Church. Cally is Glenda's sister from another mister (she really is like her sister). Its like coming home again when we get to visit with numerous friends that God has placed in our lives here in the Fort Worth area. God is using teams of people all over the world to make a difference for Him and its a blessing to be Kingdom Players together.
