As we drove into Farmington, Illinois the picture out the window was green farmland everywhere with old barns and homes population 2600. We pulled up to the small country church and got the RVS setup and started unloading the equipment. Pastor Tom met us and said our church of 25 people are very excited for you to be here Sunday. There was a frog pond close by and a beautiful
Sunset that night as the frogs, turtle doves and crickets lulled us to sleep. Before we set out on this long 12 thousand mile tour, we prayed that God would direct our paths and take us where we are to go. Sunday morning came and there were 30 to 40 people that showed up. The presence of the Lord was so strong as He ministered to each person in a special way. We saw many tears at different times during the service. We had a wonderful time of worship in this small country church. Anna has grown so much spiritually on this tour and the Lord touch her on this day. She was singing the song Adore and at the end of the song the Holy Spirit filled her with the Love of Jesus. She then fell to her knees in tears with her hand raised as she finished the song. What an awesome ending to a great service. The whole congregation all came to the altar, and we prayed together. A 17 year old girl who has never been to this church came that day with her parents. She gave her life to Jesus that morning and said I'm tired of just doing things to please others. This time I'm doing it for me. Thank You Jesus. The Pastors wife Ruby said to Glenda " I feel like God sent you here just for me"
I know the Lord touched this country church and lives were changed.
