Blastoff Music Ministries needs your continued support! In August 2011, God gave us an additional assignment – to serve as the Worship and Media Pastors for Gateway Church in Shreveport, LA. We know we are in the center of God’s will and feel strengthened and excited to be working with Pastor Richard and Brenda Exley and the Gateway team!
Be assured our vision has not changed; God has simply given us an additional assignment. Our passion to reach lost and hurting people for the Kingdom through our God given gifts of music, photography, technology and the word of our testimony remains intact. In fact, let me share a new ministry the Lord has birthed in our hearts involving music and photography. It is a DVD library of over 250 quick time movie files. These visual aids are available as downloads, on individual DVDs, or the entire library of DVDs for suggested donations.
We are utilizing this DVD library at Gateway Church and the results have been simply amazing. According to Pastor Richard Exley, “These videos are inspiring without being distracting, enhancing the awe that makes the worship of our Savior and Creator truly life changing. While capturing the handiwork of God, these anointed videos and photos focus our thoughts, not on the beauty of creation but on the majesty of the Creator. In our highly visual, multimedia culture, these visual aids are a must.”

May I speak candidly with you for a moment? In many ways coming to Gateway Church has been a challenge. Our home in Utah still hasn’t sold and we are living in our RV. We simply cannot afford to do anything else until our home sells. Vacationing in an RV is an adventure. Living in it fulltime is a challenge, especially when you have a teenage daughter. I hope it doesn’t sound like we’re complaining because we’re not. We know we are in the center of God’s will and that’s really all that matters!
Maybe you are wondering what you can do to help us do all God is calling us to do. The most important thing you can do is pray. Agree with us in prayer for the sale of our home in Utah and for an affordable home here that meets our needs. Also pray with us for financial provision. Gateway Church provides for our personal living expenses but we still have ongoing ministry expenses for Blastoff Music Ministries. When you partner with us you make it possible for Blastoff Music Ministries to meet their ongoing expenses – monthly payments for the ministry RV, administrative expenses including a salary for our ministry secretary, and of course the travel expenses for the three of us for our ministry trips to Vietnam. Taking the love of Jesus to Vietnam continues to burn in our hearts and we will continue to help build churches there as you partner with us.
