Helping people in Alabama

Yesterday the Bostocks along with the Hellfighter Christian Motorcycle team were able to get in to the hardest hit area of Wednesdays tornados. Many families have lost everything they have. Hundreds of homes are completely destroyed. We had to cancel our services this week due to the storms, so God redirected our path to come and do whatever we can to help the people of Alabama. Today we are cooking, cooking, cooking and taking food to the families that are trying to recover their lost belongings. Just giving a bottle of water can touch a life in such a great way. It is so awesome to see the community come together in this great need. We are seeing food brought in from everywhere and power companies from hundreds of miles away helping restore power. The National Guard is here helping cleanup, cutting trees, helping families loading up belongings etc. etc. This is when you see what America is about, people helping and loving people. One man said everyone becomes a believer in God when they're in a fox hole holding on for life. They are allowing us to hold an outdoor service on Sunday Night for all those that would like to come out in the community. We will have praise and worship and an open mic to allow for testimonies. I believe the Lord is doing amazing things. Thank you all for praying and supporting the cause for Christ. We will keep you all posted.

Blessing to you all

Surviving Alabama Tornadoes

The Bostocks are unable to get online so they asked me to give an update. They are in Huntsville, Alabama and the latest line of storms that have been going through the south spawned about 162 tornadoes causing massive destruction including about 100 churches destroyed. They are all safe and doing good and there was also no damage to the RV or the Gotharts' home where they are staying! Praise the Lord for His hand of protection! They watched tornadoes form in the sky all around them and just a block down the street trees are down and a mile away homes are destroyed. You can see in the photo with the ABC News anchor in the post below that there are trees standing right next to the RV and they are still standing! Northern Alabama is without power for 4-5 days so they are blessed and thankful to have the RV generator. They are helping others by charging cell phones. They are under a dusk to dawn curfew and the closest available gasoline is in Tennessee. There are no traffic signals and no police officers available because they are all working to recover bodies and rescue victims. Glenda took the photo as she, Anna and Pam Gothart stood in line today to get groceries for the next few days. Greg and Glenda shot video of the storms and will post that next week.

Because of the power outage, the Bostocks will not be able to have their service this Sunday morning in Henagar. Please pray for provision for this ministry and that God will give them opportunities to reach out to the people of Alabama with Christ's hope and love. Pray for all of those who are dealing with the destruction and loss of family and friends. If you would like to help the Bostocks financially with their ministry and especially the needs of this southern tour, your gift of any amount would be a great blessing. You can give online on the Donations page under the Store tab or mail a donation to the address at the top of this page.

If you were looking to watch the ABC interview online, it was not able to air due to the tornadoes. We hope it will air on a later date and we will let you know when it is available. Thank you so much for your prayers and support of this ministry! The Lord reigns and He is faithful!

The Bostocks on abc news

Monday abc 31 Melissa Riopka and her photographer Brian came and interviewed us about the ministry. We pray that we honored the Lord in all we shared. The story will air Wednesday night April 27 on the 10 pm news. You can also see the story on-line at www.waaytv.com click the extras tag to find "Focus on Faith"
Would you consider a special fuel donation to help the Bostock family drive across this country and share the love of Jesus Christ? With rising fuel cost, this southern tour will cost over $2500 dollars in fuel. With your support we can continue to make a difference in reaching lives for Christ.
We love you all and thank the Lord for your faithfulness

Christian Fellowship in Owens Crossroads, Alabama

There's something special about visiting those country churches. Christian Fellowship is one of those churches nestled in the country of Owens Crossroads, Alabama. When we drove up to the church it reminded me of the one on Little House on the Prairie. Our dear friend Smiley (in the photo with Greg) helped bring us into this amazing church. On Saturday Anna taught 10 of their youth a hip hop dance. They had a lot of fun learning a new dance and performing it on Sunday. We had a beautiful time and met some of God's awesome servants. Pastor Mark and Christy Wampler and their leadership team opened their arms wide to our family and ministry. This little church filled full with 97 people on Sunday morning, including many of our biker friends from the Hellfighters bike ministry. We also got to meet some new friends from the CMA bike ministry. It was great to have Neil and Jimmie Sampley from Texas stop in on us as they were traveling home from a ministry event in Georgia. We love it when our team from Mission Vietnam get to be with us and our dear friends Wade and Gail Franks along with their grandson Sam were a wonderful part of the service. Wade shared from his heart, which is always powerful, and Anna roped Sam into being a part of the hip hop dance and he did great! We reconnected with Karen Perkins who joined us last year on our journey in Vietnam and she's bringing her family back with us to Vietnam in July! The morning started out with an incredible anointing that began to break down strongholds. The Lord almighty showed up in a powerful way as we all began to worship and call out His name (MIGHTY IS OUR LORD JESUS) and singing the words "No weapon formed against us shall prosper" Anna did a great job ministering as she sang "You are for me" Thank you Lord for another week to speak and sing Your praises.

Please continue to pray of the Lord to send us where He knows we need to go.
We love you all

Grace Pointe Church in Centre Alabama

Here we are again in Sweet Home Alabama, our home away from home. Our first stop was Centre near the Georgia border. We were with Pastor Shane and Dava Swafford and their amazing church family. They pastor Grace Pointe Church of God in this quaint town of Centre, AL. We had a blessed time on Sunday morning and Sunday night with their sweet congregation. Pastor Shane had to leave after the Sunday night service and drive 8 hours to Cincinnati, Ohio to speak at a funeral for a man from his church. I volunteered to travel with him to help him with the driving. We drove through the night and arrived at 4am! Then with a few hours of sleep we made it to the funeral. After the services we headed back to Alabama through amazing thunderstorms and tornado warnings all around us. Glenda and Anna stayed with the RV back at the church and hunkered down and waited out the storm that stirred up in and around Centre. We made it back safe and the tornados stayed away from us all. We love Pastor Shane and Dava and their hearts for reaching lives for Christ. They also have twin boys, Sam and Seth that are such great guys! They are the same age as Anna and are very identical.
These Bamese folks are the bomb! We so enjoyed our time here with everyone. Thank you Grace Pointe for a wonderful weekend of ministry, fellowship and for all your kindness!

Pottsville Arkansas

What a beautiful drive from Berryville down to Pottsville Arkansas last Wednesday. We had a great time with pastor Mike and Andrea Sullivan at Unity Assembly of God. To see all the youth in their church tells us that they are making a impact for Christ in their city. We had a awesome Wednesday night service with them and it was so good to get to know Pastor Mike and Andrea and their team.
