Liberty Fellowship Atwater Caifornia

We are a little behind on the blog for this week due to getting back into town and all the crazy things in getting ready for another 2 1/2 week trip to Vietnam.
We had such a blessed time with Pastor Rick and Sandy Pruitt and their amazing congregation on November 7th. This church is a worshiping church we just loved being in the presence of the Lord. Pastor Rick and Sandy are such great people and have a real love for their church and city.

Deaf and Blind School in Vietnam with Mission Vietnam

We would like to share this video of our trip so you can see the children at the deaf and blind school. We make this trip every year because these kids grab our hearts. Please pray for Glenda, Anna and me as we will be traveling over to Vietnam again on December 6th. We have been invited to sing at the Home Church Christmas Concert on the 12th and then sing again at the Christian Missionary Alliance Christmas Concert on the 17th. Please pray for the $4200 dollars to come in to cover this special ministry trip. As we go in faith, we believe the Lord has already spoken to people to sow into this amazing ministry opportunity.
Thank you all for loving and praying for us. To know we have the support from you all makes a world of difference.
We love you and God bless you greatly.

Hey TEXAS FRIENDS we plan on being in the Killen and Fort Worth area the months of January and February. We are in need of more Sunday ministry opportunities. We believe the Lord has given us a powerful message for the church today. Especially after just coming back from Vietnam and witnessing a monumental, history-in-the-making event! We've captured some amazing video that makes this statement come alive, "A picture paints a thousand words!" Please contact your pastor or ministry leadership and give them our website. Remember we come on love offering basis because we know God has called us to this ministry and HE has something to say!

Our last dinner in Ho Chi Minh City

We all went out for a special dinner tonight to celebrate Charlie and Jeanie's Anniversary. We also got to see an old friend who used to work at the Rex Hotel as a waiter when we brought back the vets. We sang songs and had a wonderful time on our last night together. The Mission Vietnam team is so much like family.
We are blessed to have such great friends

Greg

Heading back to America

Khe Sanh Orphanage

Mission Vietnam supports a special and unique orphanage in a mountain village 3 hours from the citadel of Hue, Vietnam. The poorest of the poor live in Khe Sanh and due to the economic conditions and low mortality rate, children are sometimes abandoned or left with other relatives who struggle to survive as well. A precious pastor and his wife took several orphaned children into their own home a few years ago, with a vision to raise up young evangelists and pastors to spread the good news through these children. Numerous donors including Mission Vietnam, have provided a facility that houses 15 children and a new church building erected a few years ago. Pastor Duc has expanded his vision to build on a beautiful mountain area for another orphanage and church desperately needed for these ethnic people. Greg was too large to ride on the motorbike with Pastor Duc so he elected me to get video and photos of the area for the new expansion (in a blowing rain storm). It's a good thing I grew up on motorcycles. The path we took looked impossible to drive through. The dirt road was flooded with mud holes and truck ruts so deep they almost swallowed the small bike we were on.

It's a LONG bus ride so we made the best of our time and had our chapel service on the way to the orphanage. Greg led worship with his guitar while going down the road and our tour guide, Huong, held the mic and sang with us too.

When we arrived the Pastor greeted the team with great joy! Getting to see these children again was wonderful. We then spent the next 3 hours painting murals on their bedroom and study room walls. There were 6 rooms painted with all different kinds of creativity. We all had a great time together on this long long day. The Mission Vietnam team is like family. We truly have a great love for each other and share the same heart for following God's heart!

Thank you for believing in us and trusting us to be God's hands extended through your support.
